The Level 6 Diploma in Teaching  aims to support the professional development of those working in the teaching profession and the initial teachers wanting to work in the Education and training environment. The qualifications  develops knowledge, understanding and the skills needed to improve the quality of teaching in schools and colleges and consequently the outcomes for learners. The qualifications aim to embed improved practice leading to higher levels of institutional success. This qualification is suitable for trainee teachers and those experienced in a teaching role with a level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification.

The qualification has been specifically designed for the 20+ age groups and it is designed to equip a wide range of teachers/trainers and facilitators with the requisite skills and knowledge required to fulfill a teaching role in school or a college. The course content covers planning, delivery, assessment and the use of resources. You will also gain teaching delivery skills and participate in an intensive teaching sessions, evaluation skills and techniques which are also part of the course content.
